Thank you for the research and quick looks. If I read this right, 2025 operating expenses were approx $40.4M. If Trenton extracts $2.6M, that's 6.4%. This is more than 3x what we were told during presentations to townships last Sep, that the city extracts 2%. It's still not clear why Trenton is allowed to tap TWW funds...

The total annual budget is more than $60M. Back in August, I wrote a story about a couple of years when City Hall's "take" was more than 9%: https://trentonwaterworks.substack.com/p/starving-the-water-system-from-the

Thanks. Had not seen that. (I subscribed months after that post.) What exactly are services rendered by Trenton to TWW?

And, is this above-board transfer the only way $’s flow from TWW to the city?

I wish I knew more about the services rendered. I believe these transfers are the vast majority of benefits the City receives from TWW. But I suspect there might be additional, "non-cash" benefits that we don't see on the spreadsheets. For instance, employees with salaries paid by TWW, but who actually work elsewhere in City government.

Had the same concern. A common approach in business and government to work around budget limits. If happening here, would be taking payments from TWW customers.
